Tuesday-Saturday: 10:00-17:00

Sunday: 11:00-17:00

Mondays: Closed


The Museum offers a complimentary cloakroom located at the Visitor Information Desk



Admission charge includes entrance to all temporary exhibitions and displays.

Adult: £7.50 (£8.25 including Gift Aid)

Concession: £5 (£5.50 including Gift Aid)

Free admission for children up to 16 years, Foundling Friends and Art Fund members

Half price admission for National Trust members. Unfortunately this arrangement does not include National Trust affiliates like National Trust for Scotland. Please check the National Trust website for more information.

Getting Here

Rail: Euston, St Pancras, King’s Cross (10 mins walk)

Tube: Russell Square (2 mins walk) , King’s Cross, St Pancras

Bus: 59, 68, 91, 168, 188 to Southampton Row or Russell Square

17 (not evenings), 45, 46 to Gray’s Inn Road

10, 18, 30, 73 to Euston Road; 19, 38, 55, 243 to Theobalds Road

Parking: At the National Car Park at the Brunswick Centre (entrance on Marchmont Street).

There is no parking outside the Museum.

Visitors with a Blue Badge for disabled parking may park on the single yellow line for up to 3 hours or residents bays just outside the front of the building. Blue Badges must be displayed at all times.


Gerald Coke Handel Collection Research Library   

In addition to the public exhibition room, open during normal Museum hours, The Gerald Coke Handel Research Library is open Wednesday-Friday for research purposes by appointment.
