Before we tell you a little bit about the background of the Foundling Museum...take a look at our mini intro first...

Did that tease you to find out more about us?

If you are looking to get involved with the Foundling through fundraising or volunteering then you have come to the right place!

You will find the Foundling Museum to be an inspiring space, where social history, art, music and philanthropy meet.
The Foundling Museum is an independent charity and does not receive any government support, depending on its own efforts and the generosity of its donors.

You can make a one-off donation or you may wish to become one of our regular supporters. If you are a UK taxpayer, you can add 28% to your donation, at no extra cost, through the Gift Aid Scheme.

There are many ways in which you can support the Foundling:

  • spreading the word and getting your friends to discover the Museum
  • making a financial gift to support work, for example learning projects or operating costs
  • providing your expertise  or donating supplies

Support us in our quest to make art and music accessible to a broader audience, and to provide opportunities for learning and enrichment to young and more mature audiences. Help us to safeguard a national treasure for posterity.

The Museum must raise its own funds to remain open to the visiting public and support the many projects and activities it delivers to the community. Today our activities include

  • a vibrant programme of contemporary art exhibitions
  • a thriving learning programme for all ages
  • regular free concerts
  • providing research facilities to musical scholars

We will put your money to one of these causes.
Please give us your support and help us achieve our goals.

To discuss the various areas and ways in which you would like to help the Foundling Museum please contact Michaela Petermann on 020 7841 3604 or send us an e-mail to development@foundlingmuseum.org.uk.

United States tax payers can make donations to support the Foundling Museum through the Foundling Museum Foundation. Please contact the London office for further details.
