These three cantatas were composed by Handel after his four year stay in Italy. The Italian baroque influence is strong: from the intense operatic style to the dominant theme of classical love.
This CD is based on Handel's 1741 visit to Dublin, and contains harpsichord music by Handel, Roseingrave and Carter, including harpsichord arrangements from Handel's Rinaldo by William Babell.
