‘Drunk for a penny, dead drunk for two pence’. Dr Steven Parissien, Director of Compton Verney, leads gin tasting in the Picture Gallery. Explore the wonders of ‘mothers’ ruin’, tantalize your tastebuds, and learn about the history of gin from 1690 to the present day with a particular emphasis on the mid-eighteenth century ‘gin craze’. Includes up to six taster shots.
