To coincide with the Foundlings at War display, Barry Coope, Jim Boyes and Lester Simpson perform In Flanders Fields. Bringing together eye-witness accounts, contemporary poetry and songs specially commissioned for the town of Passchendaele’s Peace Concerts, In Flanders Fields also draws inspiration from John McCrae's poem of the same name. Coope, Boyes and Simpson have established a reputation for the quality of their singing, the subtlety of their harmonies and the sharpness of their observations. With superb a cappella singing and evocative songs, this internationally-acclaimed trio bring home the humour and courage of those who experienced World War I.
