Discovering Vivaldi: A London Perspective

The Amadè Players will be performing the recently discovered violin sonata by the prolific Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi. The Sonata in D major will be given its first performance in modern times at this exclusive concert; it may be the first time that the Sonata in D major has been heard for more than 250 years.

This display marks the 250th anniversary of composer and violinist Francesco Geminiani's death and includes the Museum's portrait of Geminiani, manuscripts and printed music.
