Foundling Community Choir

We are all singing here at the Foundling Museum, and after two hugely successful one off public singing events we have more planned!

Our event on 7th December was even recorded by BBC radio 3 and can be heard on their website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sing/hallelujah/listen.shtml

We have also been working with a number of community partners, including HCCT, Marchmont Street Community Centre and Age Concern Camden to take singing out into the borough.

These events have been funded through Camden Adult Learning Transformation funding.

Past events

In January and February 2010 we had several lunchtime singing workshops, which ended with a small performance in the museum's Pitcture Gallery. We also had a relaxed early evening of singing for all; young and old, regular singers and those who don’t think they can sing a note in the museum's beautiful Picture Gallery.

Because of your motivation and enthusiasm we have decided to start a pilot term for the Foundling Community Choir.

The Foundling Community Choir will kick it off on

Monday 10 May, 6pm-8pm
Please do come along and join us for these musical evenings. Directed by Rachel Coward.
Tickets : £3 session. Booking at 020 7841 3610 or emma@foundlingmuseum.org.uk
