Join Janice Liverseidge for a walking tour on the theme of Bloomsbury Writers, Artists and Doctors.
We learn on this walk about one of the Governors of the Foundling Hospital whose collection led to the establishment of the British Museum, see where a key medical supporter of the Hospital lived and find out about links with other philanthropists who cared for London’s children. We get an opportunity also to see how Foundling tokens have inspired an artist, connections with Jane Austen and Virginia Woolf before visiting a secret park and new art gallery and end our walk at the Foundling Museum.
Meeting outside Russell Square Underground Station.
