Scene and Heard

Young people from Somers Town involved with the project Scene and Heard worked with Subhadassi over three weeks to create haikus and performance pieces inspired by the museum

The empty transparent

bottle is on

the table

A bracelet with a padlock

had a missing key

the mother kept it

The boy jumps

on the ground

earthquake

Mother having left her child

kissing it goodbye

and a tear rolled down her cheek

Pearly white

shape of a

love heart

She heard a noise

looked to the left

a baby crying

The father

steals the bracelet

and gives it for protection
